Friends' Anual Plant & Bake Sale
It's that time of year again when the Friends of Rathbun host their Plant & Bake Sale on the Front Lawn of the Library,
Saturday, May 17th, beginning at 9:00am sharp! Lots of great plant selections as well as goodies to eat, so don't be late!
The Friends will accept donations on Friday, May 16th, as well as identify, price and tag your donated thinnings. If you cannot make the drop-off time, just leave your donations on the north side of the Library (facing Bank of America).
Your Summer Reading List
Why should the children have all the fun this summer? On Wednesday, May 21, at 11:00am, we will explore fun ways to create and build a personalized reading list filled with the best of summer reads! Please pre-register for this workshop as we anticipate vast floods of hungry readers!
Artist Film Series Continues
Join us as we continue to celebrate the spirit of spring with the following art film, which begins at 10:45am:
May 14: Capturing the Moment in Oils with David Curtis (Britain)
Preschoolers' Storytimes
Storytimes are held on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS at 10:30am, and include singing,
finger play and stories, followed by a simple craft project. Recommended for ages 3-5:
May 8: Mother's Day!
May 12 and 15: Growing Flowers
May 19 and 22: Turtle Day!
May 29: Lions, Tigers and Bears
